Summary
The dossier is the General Data Protection Regulation, governing the processing and free movement of personal data. Amendments rework the data protection impact assessment and prior notification duties of controllers and processors, including thresholds for SMEs, and revise the lawful grounds for processing such as consent, legal obligation, performance of a contract and the controller's legitimate interests, with provisions on pseudonymised, anonymised and sensitive data.
