Summary

This dossier concerns migration from the Schengen Information System (SIS 1+) to the second-generation Schengen Information System (SIS II). The amendments address cooperation between the Commission and Member States during development and migration, the Schengen acquis and participation of Bulgaria and Romania, coordination within the Council, reporting to the European Parliament and the Council on completion, and the composition of a board of experts designated by participating Member States.
