Summary
This legislative proposal sets rules on the non-commercial movement of pet animals. The amendments revise the limit of five pet animals per movement and derogations from it, the identification of animals by transponder or tattoo and their registration on an authorised database accessible across Member States, the anti-rabies vaccination condition, the qualifications required of persons implanting transponders, and the content and requirements of identification documents.
