This codecision file concerns Union action for the European Capitals of Culture for the years 2020 to 2033. Amendments revise provisions on the objectives of the title, links with the Creative Europe Programme, social inclusion and participation of disadvantaged groups and people with disabilities, awarding the title to cities or cross-border regions, selection criteria and the panel of experts, the Melina Mercouri Prize, and participation by candidate countries.
