Summary

This dossier sets compliance measures for users in the Union under the Nagoya Protocol on access to genetic resources and benefit-sharing. Amendments address due diligence obligations, internationally recognised certificates of compliance, traceability and catalogues of genetic resources, traditional knowledge, registered collections, checks by competent authorities, treatment of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture, and a benefit-sharing fund.
