Summary
Legislative dossier on fluorinated greenhouse gases. The amendments revise the gradual phase-down of hydrofluorocarbons through quotas allocated to producers and importers, bans on placing equipment using fluorinated gases (in refrigeration, air-conditioning and fire protection) on the market where alternatives exist, containment and recovery requirements, and provisions on sulphur hexafluoride, global warming potential and the Montreal Protocol.
