Summary
Budgetary dossier on mobilising the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for redundancies in the construction of buildings in Spain. The amendments stress that the Fund provides one-off, time-limited support to help redundant workers reintegrate into the labour market amid globalisation and the economic crisis, the role of the social partners, an 'Equal opportunities supervisor' scheme, a proposal to extend the Fund to the self-employed, and the co-financing 'crisis derogation'.
