Trade and economic relations with the United States

This own-initiative report addresses trade and economic relations with the United States. Amendments revise recitals on EU-US trade and investment flows, the High Level Working Group's interim report on a comprehensive agreement, comparisons of EU and US labour, financial and climate standards, the role of the World Trade Organisation, effects on NAFTA countries and REACH, agricultural products and geographical indications, and industrial, social and climate-change objectives.
