Summary
The dossier concerns the European Semester employment and social aspects in the Annual Growth Survey 2013. Amendments call to reconsider austerity and structural reforms through social dialogue, address rising unemployment, youth unemployment and NEETs, fiscal consolidation and its effect on growth and jobs, shifting taxation away from labour, wage-setting and collective bargaining, retirement age and pension sustainability, and excluding productive investments in education and research from deficit targets.
