Amendments address protection of critical information infrastructure, designation of national competent authorities and Computer Emergency Response Teams, a Union cooperation mechanism, early warnings and information exchange, data protection and fundamental rights safeguards, software producers' liability for security breaches, and coordination with Europol's European Cybercrime Centre.
