Summary

Resolution accompanying the EU-Indonesia Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation (PCA). Amendments welcome the PCA as the first of its kind between the EU and an ASEAN country, with essential elements on human rights and countering proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, describe Indonesia as the world's fourth most populous nation and a large democracy with a multi-ethnic, multi-religious society, and recall its democratic and economic transformation after authoritarian military rule, citing the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
