Limitation of emissions of certain pollutants into the air from medium combustion plants

The dossier limits emissions of certain pollutants into the air from medium combustion plants. The amendments adjust emission limit values for existing medium combustion plants by fuel type and the directive's scope, total rated thermal input thresholds and exemptions, plant registration and operating-hours declarations, and add references to controlling pollutants including sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter and mercury, with one provision on plants in certain overseas and island territories.
