Summary
This own-initiative report concerns reindustrialising Europe to promote competitiveness and sustainability. The amendments call for a joint reindustrialisation strategy, support for growth-promoting sectors where Europe leads, increased research and development funding, security of supply of raw materials, a stable legal framework and financing for SMEs, and alignment of EU trade and competition policy with industrial policy, including trade-defence instruments against unfair practices.
