Summary
Own-initiative report on Member States' preparedness for the timely start of the new cohesion policy programming period. Amendments address the 2014-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework agreement, the backlog of outstanding commitments, multi-level governance and involvement of local and regional authorities, simplification and transparency of EU fund management, the Common Provisions Regulation, the performance reserve, macroeconomic conditionality, Europe 2020 targets and the European Social Fund.
