Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): SIEKIERSKI Czesław Adam (PPE)
Summary
This own-initiative report addresses the future of small agricultural holdings. The amendments highlight demographic, commercial and technological pressure, depopulation and rural exodus, the delivery of public goods and biodiversity, subsistence and semi-subsistence farming, weak bargaining power and price volatility, alternative income and non-agricultural jobs, administrative support and access to EU funding, and the special role of holdings in mountain, less-favoured and outermost regions.
