Implementation of the common security and defence policy

This own-initiative report concerns implementation of the Common Security and Defence Policy. The amendments revise citations and paragraphs on the changing geopolitical environment, the EU's role as a global actor and security provider, the comprehensive approach, permanent structured cooperation (PESCO), CSDP missions and operations, the role of the High Representative/Vice-President and the EEAS, mediation, and review of the European Security Strategy.
