Summary
Own-initiative report on a 2030 framework for climate and energy policies. Amendments set rival binding targets for greenhouse gas reductions, renewable energy share and energy efficiency; address developing countries, climate finance, the Emissions Trading System, biofuels and transport-sector emissions; and stress green job creation, skills, fossil-fuel subsidies, social dialogue and a just transition for workers.
