Summary
Own-initiative report on the EU comprehensive approach and its implications for the coherence of EU external action. Amendments address mobilising diplomatic, security, defence, economic, development and humanitarian instruments under the UN Charter, the role of the Lisbon Treaty, the EEAS and the High Representative, coherence across external policies, energy dependence, humanitarian principles, and engagement with civil society, referencing the joint communication on the comprehensive approach and NATO's Strategic Concept.
