Single-member private limited liability companies

Legislative proposal on single-member private limited liability companies. Several amendments reject the Commission proposal or delete provisions; others address the costs and administrative burdens of establishing companies and subsidiaries across Member States, support for SMEs and micro-enterprises, a harmonised framework and uniform template for articles of association, the 'SUP' (Societas Unius Personae) form, registration and points of single contact, and respect for Member States' company-law traditions and codetermination rights.
