Summary
A proposal on harmonised indices of consumer prices and a house price index. The amendments concern the role of the HICP, HICP-CT and owner-occupied housing indices in measuring inflation and assessing price stability by the Commission and the European Central Bank, breakdown by the ECOICOP classification and adaptation to UN COICOP, flash estimates for the euro area, regulated prices, pilot studies, delegated acts, and administrative burden.
