This dossier concerns measures and remedies regarding the acquisition, use and disclosure of trade secrets. Amendments rework the cases exempted from those measures, in particular the exercise of freedom of expression, media freedom and information, the revealing of misconduct, wrongdoing or illegal activity in the public interest, disclosure by workers to their representatives, disclosures required under Union or national law, and reverse engineering of computer programs.
