Summary
An own-initiative report on the fruit and vegetables sector since the 2007 reform. The amendments address the reform's aim of strengthening producer organisations (POs) to prevent and manage market risks, the low organisation rate in several Member States, red tape and crisis prevention and management instruments, the distribution of EU financial assistance among POs, operational funds under the Common Agricultural Policy, and the Russian embargo.
