European energy security strategy

This own-initiative report sets out a European energy security strategy. Amendments stress diversifying energy supply sources and routes given dependence on a single gas supplier and on imports, building an Energy Union, coordinating energy with foreign policy, expanding renewables, energy efficiency and interconnections, and using the European Neighbourhood and Energy Community in relations with third countries.
