Summary
The dossier is an own-initiative report on security challenges in the MENA region and prospects for political stability. Amendments revise recitals on conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Libya, the Arab uprisings, ISIS/Da'esh and ethnic and sectarian tensions, and rework a paragraph expressing support for or disagreement with the common security and defence policy (CSDP).
