External impact of EU trade and investment policy on public-private initiatives in countries outside the EU

This own-initiative report examines the external impact of EU trade and investment policy on public-private initiatives in countries outside the EU. The amendments address public-private partnerships in developing countries, policy coherence for development and poverty reduction, transparency and regulatory frameworks, allocation of financial risks between public and private sectors, privatisation of utilities and public services, and support for local small and medium-sized enterprises.
