Summary
This own-initiative report addresses women's careers in science and university and the glass ceilings encountered. The amendments note the under-representation of women at higher academic levels and in STEM, cite causes such as stereotypes, bias, precarious contracts and difficulty reconciling work and family obligations, reference the European Research Area Roadmap, the Istanbul Convention and the European Institute for Gender Equality, and call for promotion of STEM among girls.
