Landfill of waste: resource efficiency. Circular economy package

This dossier, part of the circular economy package, concerns the landfill of waste and resource efficiency. The amendments revise recitals and provisions on the transition to a circular economy and the Raw Materials Initiative, landfill restriction, reduction and phasing-out targets, separate collection of waste streams such as plastics, metals, glass, paper and bio-waste, the waste hierarchy, biodegradable and municipal waste, waste management infrastructure, and the role of local authorities.
