Summary
This dossier concerns accessibility requirements for products and services. The amendments rework recitals on demand for accessible products and services amid an ageing population, disparities between Member States' laws creating barriers to free movement in the internal market, the Charter of Fundamental Rights and the Convention, and they debate persons with disabilities, functional limitations and older persons, the built environment, economic operators including SMEs, and a least-burdensome accessibility report.
