Election of the members of the European Parliament by direct universal suffrage: reform

A consent procedure on the reform of the election of the members of the European Parliament by direct universal suffrage. The amendments include a recital citing the Venice Commission recommendation that electoral law should not be amended less than one year before an election, and amendments declining to give consent to the draft Council decision.
