Summary

An own-initiative report on EU-China relations. The amendments address negotiations on an EU-China Bilateral Investment Treaty and the ISDS dispute-settlement mechanism, Chinese strategic infrastructure investment in Europe, concern over the situation of civil rights activists, lawyers, journalists, bloggers and academics under President Xi Jinping, the draft Overseas NGO Management Law, unrest in Hong Kong and the Sino-British Joint Declaration.
