Summary
Own-initiative report on the role of local authorities in developing countries in development cooperation. The amendments add references to resolutions and Commission communications, and recitals on local authorities as actors in local governance and grassroots democracy, the involvement of civil society organisations and national parliaments in the post-2015 development framework, urbanisation, the impact of conflicts and climate change, and the role of aid in poverty reduction.
