Summary
This own-initiative report addresses financing for development. Amendments reference UN and OECD processes, the Sustainable Development Goals, the Addis Ababa Financing for Development conference and EU external-action financing instruments, and call for strengthening developing countries' tax administration and financial governance, cracking down on tax havens, tax evasion and illicit financial flows, country-by-country reporting and public registers of beneficial ownership, and an intergovernmental UN body for tax cooperation.
