This own-initiative dossier concerns the EU's role within international financial, monetary and regulatory institutions and bodies. The amendments address the EU speaking with a single voice and the euro's external representation, the accountability of the European Parliament and national parliaments, transparency of bodies such as the IMF and OECD, the role of the G20 and European Supervisory Authorities, and tackling tax havens, fraud and evasion.
