Summary
Legislative-initiative report on common minimum standards of civil procedure. The amendments revise recitals and paragraphs on national procedural autonomy and the principles of subsidiarity, proportionality and conferral, the right to a fair trial and effective remedy under the Charter and ECHR, mutual recognition of judgments and mutual trust between judiciaries, the legal basis under Articles 81 and 114 TFEU, cross-border implications, limitation periods, judicial expertise and the service of documents.
