How can the CAP improve job creation in rural areas?

This own-initiative report examines how the Common Agricultural Policy can improve job creation in rural areas. The amendments stress agriculture's role in social and territorial cohesion and maintaining rural populations, call for a stronger CAP budget and first pillar, sustainable and organic farming, vocational and ICT training, broadband, geographical indications, the role of women and social partners, and coordination with EU funds.
