Summary

Legislative dossier revising the EU Blue Card Directive on the admission of highly skilled third-country workers. The amendments address salary thresholds set with the social partners, equal treatment and equal pay, the right to pursue self-employed activity in parallel, treatment of periods of unemployment, recognition of qualifications and professional experience, and employer responsibility and sanctions, with references to ISCO and ISCED classifications.
