Summary

Consent procedure on the EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). The opinions reflect divided positions: the Committee on Foreign Affairs recommends Parliament decline consent and some amendments decline consent or suspend the consent procedure for five months or one year, while the Committees on Employment and Social Affairs and on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety recommend that Parliament give its consent.
