Summary
Own-initiative report on EU options for improving access to medicines. The amendments invoke the right to health, Sustainable Development Goal 3 and the WHO, and address intellectual property and TRIPS flexibilities, free trade agreements with low- and middle-income countries, generic and biosimilar medicines, neglected and poverty-related diseases, and barriers to access in developing countries.
