The dossier is an EU flagship initiative on the garment sector. The amendments cite ILO Conventions, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Bangladesh Accord, and address human and labour rights violations, access to remedy for victims and responsible management of global value chains. They also raise living wages, collective bargaining, freedom of association, workplace safety and women workers.
