Summary
This own-initiative report concerns academic further and distance education within the European lifelong learning strategy. The amendments cite TFEU education articles and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and address digital transformation, automation, robotics and artificial intelligence, lifelong-learning participation targets, access without discrimination, e-accessibility, work-study-life balance, and distance education as a complement to, not replacement of, on-campus teaching, including for women and ICT skills.
