EU funds for gender equality

Own-initiative report on EU funds for gender equality. Amendments invoke Article 8 TFEU and the Strategic Engagement for Gender Equality, call for gender budgeting and mainstreaming across the budgetary process, gender-specific indicators and collection of gender-disaggregated data, adoption of the European Institute for Gender Equality's Gender Equality Index methodology, and review of the EUR 6.17 billion allocated in the MFF and of post-2020 funding programmes.
