Summary
This dossier concerns the deployment of cohesion policy instruments by regions to address demographic change. Amendments revise recitals on demographic change, ageing and low fertility, depopulation of rural and remote areas, the gender pay and pension gap, access to services and maternal healthcare in rural areas, regional disparities and NUTS level 2 projections, and the role of regional policy and the European Structural and Investment Funds.
