2018 budget: guidelines, Section III - Commission

This budgetary report sets guidelines for the 2018 EU budget, Section III - Commission. Many amendments are deletions; the substantive ones rewrite the report's title and opening paragraph and contest the EU budget's role in addressing jobs, economic growth, migration, security and populism, with competing wording on social inclusion, poverty, climate change, gender budgeting, subsidiarity and socio-economic convergence between regions.
