Regulation transposing management, conservation and control measures for the Convention Area of the South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (SPRFMO). The amendments, including numerous deletions, address the precautionary and ecosystem approaches under the Common Fisheries Policy, a prohibition on bottom fishing, allocation of jack mackerel fishing opportunities to traditional fisheries and selective gear, seabird bycatch and offal handling, and illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
