Screening of foreign direct investments into the European Union

Regulation establishing a framework for screening foreign direct investment into the European Union. Amendments revise the grounds for screening to cover security, public order, fundamental rights, the protection of key technologies and strategic interest, address reciprocity and World Trade Organisation commitments, critical infrastructure and key enabling technologies, anti-circumvention measures, and a cooperation mechanism between Member States and the Commission.
