Summary
This dossier concerns the powers, governance and funding of the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs). The amendments address performance-based budgeting, contributions from financial institutions based on their size, safeguards that revenue should not compromise independence, and cooperation to achieve financial savings; they also strengthen the role of EBA and the ESAs in monitoring money-laundering and terrorist financing and in breach-of-Union-law procedures.
