Union Civil Protection Mechanism: prevention; European Civil Protection Pool; rescEU

This dossier amends the Union Civil Protection Mechanism, covering prevention, the European Civil Protection Pool and rescEU. The amendments address financing of rescEU capacities through redeployments, decisions on deployment by the Commission through the ERCC, Member States' primary responsibility for preventing and responding to natural and man-made disasters, registration of acquired or leased equipment, regular sharing of risk assessments, a Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network, and gender equality.
