Summary
A legislative proposal on the Euratom research and training programme 2019-2020. The amendments revise recitals on continuing nuclear research at Community level, the Fusion Roadmap, nuclear safety, security, radiation protection and waste management, decarbonisation of the energy system, the Joint Research Centre, the SET Plan, Brexit and cooperation with the United Kingdom, and Parliament's lack of co-decision powers, with one amendment dropping fusion energy objectives.
