Summary
This own-initiative dossier is a recommendation to the Council on EU priorities for the 61st session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women. The amendments reaffirm commitment to the Beijing Platform for Action, the fifth Sustainable Development Goal, women's access to education and decent work, equal pay, female entrepreneurship, combating violence against women, ratification of the Istanbul Convention and CEDAW, and access to sexual and reproductive health care.
