Role of EU regions and cities in implementing the COP 21 Paris Agreement on Climate Change

An own-initiative report on the role of EU regions and cities in implementing the COP 21 Paris Agreement on climate change. The amendments highlight commitments by regions and cities through the EU Covenant of Mayors, their share of emissions and of EU legislation, call for better integration of regions and cities within the UNFCCC process, and address extreme weather, green infrastructure and the US withdrawal from the Paris Agreement.
